A successful IDSENTRA deployment depends on more than infrastructure. Roles, policies, providers, data boundaries, test scenarios, recovery plans, and acceptance evidence should be defined together.

Identify applicable regulatory, privacy, security, retention, responsible-gaming, and incident-response requirements.
Name accountable owners for security, compliance, operations, administration, and support.
Approve production data flows and access boundaries.

Identity & access

Define user roles and least-privilege permissions.
Confirm privileged account lifecycle and forced credential-change policy.
Document session, authentication, and directory/identity-provider requirements.

Integrations

Inventory authoritative registration/self-exclusion sources.
Inventory scanning, identity-input, directory, reporting, SIEM/event, and site/device integrations.
Keep provider credentials server-side and define adapter ownership.

Deployment

Define hosting, PostgreSQL, networking, environments, domains, and release channels.
Confirm signed licensing and bounded control-plane outage expectations.
Define backup, restore, recovery, and maintenance ownership.

Acceptance

Create test identities and non-production scenarios.
Validate search, alerts, cases, evidence, permissions, reporting, retention, and failure modes.
Complete responsive, accessibility, security-header, health/readiness, and release smoke tests.

Go-live

Complete legal and security review.
Train users and administrators by role.
Approve rollback, escalation, support, monitoring, and post-launch review plans.
